I make music, zines, blog posts, and stream games.
I enjoy a nice bit of fanfiction; in years past I have written some as well. In fact, my best known, most favourited and followed, and personally loathed is a Harry Potter and Elder Scrolls crossover, Magic, as Opposed to Magic. It basically short-circuits the seven-book saga with my character from a heavily modded run in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Think of it as a horribly bloated drabble.
Take my advice and read the original The Chronicles of Ra'jirra and The Wasteland Affair instead. They’re infinitely better. I have no fics that take place in Skyrim, mainly because I struggle to bond with that game.
(This is not to say that Skyrim isn't mention in The Box of Drabbles however. That's a compilation of incomplete ideas that I thought worthy of putting out there.)
Also, if you like My Little Pony with extra grimsauce, Shetlander might be your cup of unexpected tentacles. Unless you've experienced Sweetie Belle's cooking.
But this page is meant to be a list of fanfics I like to read. So here they are, without little commentary and no remorse. If you don't understand a term, go look it up.
(Caution: many of these are Harry Potter fanfics. Please control your screams of rage.)
The Inquisitor Carrow series by littlewhitecat (Harry Potter / Warhammer 40,000AD): Harry gets magically zapped into the Imperium of Man and comes back as an Inquisitor... and an Astartes. I'm not sure but I think the series has come to a natural end. I would describe the tone as Ha Ha Only Serious.
Brockton Bay's Marvellous Mage by MetaBettaOmegaLetta (Worm): William Kalus is "isekaied" into the rather horrid world of Worm. However, he has an ace up his sleeve: magic. Well written and chapters tend to be just short enough to keep me coming back for more.
Snek Is a Good Boy by ack1308 (Worm): The world of Worm is turned upside down by a snake. Said snake can make portals, is the familiar of a powerful wizard from that realm over there... and is a sapient sixty-foot boa constrictor.
My Hero Academia: Unchained Predator by reeleffendeel (Doom / My Hero Academia / Darksiders): After Hayden takes the Crucible from the Doom Slayer, the cyborg sends him sideways into the MHA world. At some stage All For One is going to have a very bad day. Ongoing, but starting to feel like villianous power creep is setting in.
'Ere We Go, Pluz Ultra! by Unseen Lurker (My Hero Academia / Warhammer 40,000AD): An Ork Waagh! gets zapped into Izuku Midoriya’s head. MHA world, meet Mekboy.
Ash In the Wind by VixenRose1996 (Fallout 4 / The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim): Kravos Redwind, bored, uses a spell to send his entire house elsewhere. "Elsewhere" in this case means the Boston Commonwealth, possibly around the Point Lookout area. It starts with rescuing a little girl... Complete.
Theogony by Darth Marrs (Worm / God of War): Danny Hebert is Kratos. His daughter saves the world. I think. Complete.
Halo: Finishing the Fight by Red Mage 04 (Dungeons & Dragons Forgotten Realms & Halo): The important half of the Forward Unto Dawn crashes on Faerun. This is not a fluke. Complete. A cracking story that manages to overcome its spelling and grammar errors. Complete.
The Harveste series by kyaru-chan (Harry Potter / The Addams Family): Harry is found and brought up by a much nicer family. The Wizarding World is going to have to put up with that. Since the last update was in 2011 I think it's as complete as it's going to get.
893 by Yanagi-Wa (Harry Potter): Harry is brought up by magical Yakuza. Dumbledore is going to have to put up with that. You will have to put up with the wordplay in the title. Complete.
Silly but Killy by Palladius (Mass Effect / Warhammer 40,000AD): s/humans/Orks/ - if you know, you know. The Citadel Council privately wish they didn't.
It's Always the Quiet Ones by PixelWriter1 (Harry Potter / Cthulhu Mythos): Luna Lovegood reveals why her fellow Ravenclaws shouldn't have been stealing her things. A nice little one-shot.
Taylor is DOOMed by mp3.1415player (Worm / Doom): Taylor Hebert gets zapped into the Doom universe, and has to rip and tear her way back. Fortunately, time loops are on her side. Unfortunately for some, she’s a bit annoyed when she does return. I do hope this continues because I'd like to see her do things to at least one Endbringer.
Imperium Aeternit by ArcturusWolf (Mass Effect / The Elder Scrolls): The Empire has conquered the whole of their world after the events in Skyrim. They have taken to the stars. They have also discovered their first Mass Relay. Some time later, the Batarians make a mistake. Complete.
Defenders of the Earth 1938 by JJ Rust (Defenders of the Earth): Ming the Merciless attacks Earth in the late 1930s, much earlier than in the source material. Cracking story with a lot of that early-mid-20th-century energy. Complete.
Quoth the Raven, Nevermore by GenkaiFan (Harry Potter): The poor kid becomes a raven animagus far too early, and ends up raised by the royal family as well as the Tower ravens. Dumbledore doesn't cope well. Complete.
Damn Wizards by sprinter1998 (Harry Potter): Harry left the Wizarding world years ago. Now he's Prime Minister. The Wizarding World's days are numbered. Complete.
The Dragonriders series by bobmin356 (Harry Potter / Dragonriders of Pern): Dragons, it turns out, are not native to wizarding Earth. Unfinished due to the death of the author. Damn shame.
A Foul Light Shines by Karazor (My Little Pony / Warhammer 40,000AD): An Imperium ship arrives at Equestria. Fortunately for the local xenos, it's a relatively open-minded Rogue Trader vessel. Unfortunately, it didn’t come of its own volition, nor alone. Complete.
The Children of Planet Earth by Chicago Ted (My Little Pony): Earth has found a way to Equestria, not that they call it that. A liguist is dispatched to understand the language of the natives of Rhysling. May be hard to read given the way Ted presents spoken Rhysling, but it can be glorked from context. Not your usual Human In Equestria or First Contact story, as the focus is on the language barrier (which is usually magicked out of the way.) Complete.
There's probably more. So look at my Fanfiction.net and Fimfiction pages.
